Textbook hole in the wall that everyone should know about. I want everyone to come try what Jamaican food should taste like. Oxtail: 9/10 Jerk Chicken: 10/10 Stew Chicken: 8.5/10 Short Ribs: 10/10 Cabbage: 10/10 Rice & Beans: 10/10 Festival: 5/10 Incredible flavors, unbeatable prices, locally owned and super clean. There’s even a little market section with imported Jamaican seasonings. You need this food in your life.

I'm here like once a week, I adore you guys the food is always on point and well portioned! This is the Small Oxtail Plate with a extra side of Festivals total about $26

Okay so I picked up food when everything was made fresh. The food quality is great. The beef patty was made fresh and was very delicious. The price point was fine. The only problem I found was two things the plantain wasn’t sweet, it was a bit dry. And two the oxtail portions, I felt they weren’t as generous as their competitors. I ordered a large plate for me and my wife and we both got full. Overall they earned a regular, I expect they stay consistent on their flavor. Will be trying the brown stew chicken and curry goat next, and I will give an update on how those went.

Another hidden . Finally, a ????????Jamaican spot east of the 110, with authentic ????????Jamaican dishes. I had the large oxtail, peas and rice, cabbage, and plantains for less than $25, and they had beef and chicken Patty's. Friendly service, parking is an issue in the afternoon. Call ahead, this spot will run out of food fri-sat. Definitely returning..... Soon

If you love AUTHENTIC JAMAICAN FOOD THIS IS YOUR PLACE. Just look at the browning on those Oxtails, the gravy on the rice and peas. Let me say the cabbage, lightly seasoned, you taste every veggie they've added to them. Don't let the dark color on the plantains fool you when I say delicious . My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Everything was a 10*. Don't go to anyone else for Jamaican food, THIS IS THE SPOT.

BEST JAMAICAN OXTAILS IN LA. This place is so underrated and kind of a hole in the wall but if you're reading this PLEASE come out here to try their food, don't be intimidated by the outside/area. Everything is so fresh and flavorful, prices are reasonable, portions are great, and the lady and her man who run the shop are very nice. I've had a lot of Jamaican food in all areas of LA and these were the most amazing oxtails of all. Dining area is limited, there's only one table so you'd probably be best eating in your car or just ordering takeout if anything. Beef patty was so incredibly flaky and had a nice kick. I work in this area so it was dope seeing something different from your usual chain fast food places or burgers and tacos etc. Flava is an absolute gem. Would highly recommend stopping by for Jamaican food made with love, you'd be missing out if you didn't!

The service is fast and efficient. They give you a sizable portion for $22. The meat falls off the bone. Savory stew. The plantains are perfectly ripes and sweet not soggy. The seasoning is on point not overbearing.You won’t regret it. They deserve more publicity.

Been back over 5X now & going to continue to. Use to be a regular @ Lee’s & Blessed but live closer here & Love the customer service plus food always hot & fresh when I come. Love the ox tails & crispy fresh meat pies that be running out fast. Want to try everything but can’t stop getting that oxtail plate that comes w/ veggies, plantains, rice/peas & I forgot the breads name but everything is 10 out of 10! I highly recommend. I’m now a regular to this gem! They accept cards for payment too.
